Zoopit Go collects and processes location data to provide our core delivery services. This section explains what location data we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding this data.
What We Collect
When you use Zoopit Go, we collect precise location data (GPS coordinates) from your mobile device. This includes real-time location data collected while the app is in use during active deliveries. Location data may also be collected in the background when you have an active delivery task and the app is running in the background, in order to provide continuous tracking and accurate estimated arrival times.
How We Use Location Data
We use your location data for the following purposes:
- To enable real-time tracking of deliveries so that customers and dispatchers can monitor delivery progress
- To calculate and display estimated arrival times for deliveries
- To optimize delivery routes and improve service efficiency
- To verify delivery completion and maintain delivery records
- To provide location-based features and improve the overall delivery experience
Data Sharing
Your location data may be shared with customers awaiting deliveries (in the form of delivery tracking and estimated arrival times), dispatchers coordinating deliveries, and service providers who assist in operating our platform. We do not sell your location data to third parties.
Data Retention
Location data associated with completed deliveries is retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, including for record-keeping and service improvement. Real-time location data is not stored beyond what is necessary for active delivery tracking.
Your Choices
You can control location access through your device settings. Please note that disabling location services will prevent the app from functioning properly during active deliveries, as real-time tracking is a core feature of the Zoopit Go service. You may revoke location permissions at any time when you are not performing deliveries.
